It all started with a call from Davido’s manager, asking us to participate in a shoot. I rushed to tell my boyfriend, who thought it was a joke. I insisted he call back to confirm, and indeed, it was Davido’s manager. When asked how much we would charge, we immediately responded, “Nothing, oh! If it’s Davido, we’ll just do it.”
Upon arrival, Davido welcomed us warmly, encouraged us, and handed us a huge package. Thank goodness we didn’t charge him anything upfront—it was truly a dream come true for us.
