Portable shared his ambition of signing a record deal with Sony Music, believing their influence could help him achieve his dream of winning 10 Grammys in one night.
Davido, however, advised Portable to consider a more profitable record deal, such as with Empire, which he believed would provide more financial benefits and help Portable establish a strong presence in Africa.
Following their meeting, Portable took to Instagram Live to voice his dissatisfaction with Davido’s advice. This public expression of displeasure led to Davido unfollowing Portable on social media.
