Dr. Umar’s Bold Warning to Black Men: “Stay True to Black Women or Pay the Price”

Dr. Umar Johnson, a well-known American media personality and Pan-African activist, is not one to hold back his views—especially when it comes to interracial relationships. In a recent statement, Dr. Umar issued a stern warning to Black men in America, urging them to reconsider their decisions to marry white women. According to him, these marriages often end in financial disaster, with Black men losing their fortunes to divorce settlements.

Dr. Umar didn’t mince words: “Black men, if you marry a white woman, get divorced, and lose half your wealth, don’t come crying in public. Black women won’t ask for half after divorce.” His message is a wake-up call for Black men who, in his view, are choosing white women over their Black counterparts—a decision he claims stems from self-hatred and societal pressure.

Drawing on the high-profile cases of celebrities like Kanye West and Tyrese Gibson, Dr. Umar highlighted the harsh realities of these interracial unions. Kanye’s $200k monthly child support payments to Kim Kardashian and Tyrese’s $60k monthly payments to his ex-wife serve as cautionary tales of what Dr. Umar describes as the “price” Black men pay when they marry outside their race.

He further emphasized that Black men often don’t end up with the “top” white women but rather those who are not desired by white men. “Black money and white money don’t behave the same,” he remarked, suggesting that new Black wealth is often wasted on elevating poor white women to billionaire status—something that old white money wouldn’t allow.

Dr. Umar’s solution? Black men should focus on building families with Black women. With the largest population of Black women on the planet, he believes there’s no reason to look outside the race. Whether in America, Europe, Asia, or Africa, Black women are abundant, and Dr. Umar insists they are the rightful partners for Black men.

In his eyes, inter-racial relationships perpetuate a cycle of loss for Black men—both emotionally and financially. As more and more high-profile cases confirm his theory, Dr. Umar’s message grows louder: “Stay true to Black women or pay the price.”
