Court Clears Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy of Involvement in Mohbad’s Death
In a landmark ruling, the Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, has officially cleared popular singer Naira Marley, music promoter Sam Larry, Primeboy, and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde, of any involvement in the tragic death of singer Mohbad.
The verdict followed legal advice from the Lagos Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP), which found no evidence linking the individuals to the incident. However, the court has ordered the prosecution of auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe and Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, for alleged reckless and negligent acts under Lagos State law. Both individuals will face trial at the Magistrate Court.
