President Bola Tinubu has appointed Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed as the new Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), marking a significant milestone for Kwara State and Nigeria’s intelligence community.

A proud son of Lafiagi in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State, Ambassador Mohammed brings a distinguished career in diplomacy and intelligence to his new role. With a background as Nigerian Ambassador to Libya and extensive experience in North Korea, Pakistan, Sudan, and State House, Abuja, he is poised to lead the NIA with expertise and vision.

Graduating from Bayero University, Kano in 1990, Ambassador Mohammed’s appointment is a testament to his dedication and service. His leadership is anticipated to usher in positive changes and strengthen Nigeria’s intelligence capabilities.
