Anticipation was high for a Wizkid and Davido collaboration following their recent friendship. Fans also doubted Wizkid’s ability to create a record that could match the success of hits from his Made In Lagos album.

However, Wizkid in his prime, trying to strike a balance between his local and International audience, has a better surprise for y’all.

In the first track “OLOLUFE” feat. Wande Coal, Wizkid showcases heartfelt emotions for his Day-one fans. By keeping it so simple that a 4-year-old kid can memorize it in minutes. The melodic sound of Wizkid and Wande Coal’s voices will resonate well with a wider audience.

Moving to Track 2, “DIAMONDS” Wizkid revealed personal struggles through lyrics like “So many things I been take for the pain 🥺” – depicting how he tries to suppress his pains with various substances.
After losing his Mother, he shared his perspective about life, in lines like “I fit tell you many things but I say nothing.
This life na so e be.”

Track 3. “ENERGY” was the biggest skip on the EP. Some parts felt off.

In Track 4, IDK feat. Zlatan the young rapper used a popular Wizkid line, “She tell me say she go leave if the love no lead to money.
Relationship wey money no dey go later boring.
And that’s why I pray every night and day that I get paid so I can slay.”
A relatable verse from Zlatan on IDK. Added depth to the track using a popular Wizkid line, and they both made magic.
